A.M. Best Rating

A.M. Best Company, the nation's leading insurance rating organization, has given CSE Insurance Group a rating of A- (Excellent).  In addition, A.M. Best has given CSE an issuer credit ratings (ICR) of "a-."

President and CEO Pierre Bize comments, "This is a direct reflection of the diligence and hard work by all CSE employees the past few years as we have focused our efforts on strengthening the company in all areas.  It is also a testimonial to our agency force and its work on our behalf."

Mr. Bize continues, "In its statement detailing the reasons for the upgrade, A.M. Best cited such elements as CSE’s knowledge of its operating territories, strong business persistency and conservative approach to investment risk along with a favorable loss reserve development.  It is extremely satisfying that the initiatives and guidelines we have implemented in these areas during the past few years have produced the desired results."
